Term 2 Week 11

Catch up with all things Emmaus in our first installment of 2024 in What's Up Emmaus?
This week we interview some students around the recently performed Final Hours reenactment and also go through the HUGE host of sporting events going on this term.

During this episode, the podcasters get creative with interviewing grandparents, they reveal the winners of the Nyereeka Masterchef Challenge and also interview a mystery guest. Can you guess who the voice belongs to?

In this episode, we listen to the fascinating questions and answers our Year 5/6 students asked "Aussie legend", Nedd Brockmann about his amazing effort to raise money and awareness of homeless people.
We also have further insights into games students play in the playground with our playground report, as well as our usual joke and quote segment.

Episode 2 for the year is based around what happens in a school day as an Emmaus student, featuring lots of student voices. In this episode we also introduce two new segments; a sports report and a playground report.

This year we have a new team to bring you lots of fabulous content and new segments about life at Emmaus Catholic Primary School.
This episode includes an interview with our new Physical Education teacher, Laura.

In this final episode of the year, we welcome lots of new members and have roving reporters checking out some of the favourite Christmas traditions around the school. We have 2 jokes of the week and we farewell our Year Six students, reminiscing about their favourite Emmaus memories. We also acknowledge a special award for one of the podcast members.

In this episode, we reveal the new name of the podcast, upgrade the audio quality using a new microphone and interview our new principal, Ethan. We also have some of the familiar inclusions from the last podcast; news, fun facts and a joke.

During this first episode we meet the podcasting team at Emmaus Catholic Primary School in Mount Clear, Ballarat.
We interview our principal Eileen before her (second) retirement and learn some features of the podcast that you will be able to listen to during each episode.
